John 4:35 Don’t you have a saying, “It’s still four months until harvest?” I tell you, open your eyes and behold the fields! They are ripe for harvest.
Jesus spoke these words to His disciples right after talking with the Samaritan woman at the well. The disciples were thinking about lunch. Jesus was thinking about souls ready to receive the Gospel.
The fields were ripe for harvest, meaning the harvest was ready right now. Not in four months. Not someday. Today.
That verse hit us like a lightning bolt in 2025. We realized the same thing is true today: people everywhere are spiritually hungry. They’re searching for hope, truth, and a free Bible to call their own. The harvest is ready. We just needed to start reaping.
So we started Behold the Fields: a simple, transparent Christian nonprofit that buys Bibles in bulk and mails them completely free to anyone who asks.
No salaries. No fancy offices. No overhead.
